The Housing Finance Authority is authorized under Chapter 159, Florida Statutes and County Codes Chapter 32, to issue tax exempt revenue bonds to finance qualified affordable housing projects in Alachua County. At least three of its members are required to be knowledgeable in the fields of labor, finance or commerce. This board meets on the 2nd Wednesdays of every other month, generally during the day, at the Alachua County Community Support Services building 218 SE 24th Street, Gainesville, FL 32641.
