The Local Planning Agency and Planning Commission is responsible for preparation of the comprehensive plan; reviewing and making recommendations on re-zonings, special use permits, temporary use permits, and special exceptions, and on land development regulations upon the request of the Board of County Commissioners. The Planning Commission is comprised of 8 members (one is a School Board Appointee) serving 4-year terms.
